Slippery Season Opener on Monte Ceneri
The first Swiss race of the season was a true test of skill and endurance. Held on the challenging course at Monte Ceneri in Ticino, this HC-category event lived up to its reputation – and the weather forecast. Rain had been predicted for the weekend, and it didn’t disappoint. The already demanding track turned into a muddy battlefield.
The Big Season RECAP
WOW, what a season! When we started back in mid-March in Gränichen, no one on the team could have predicted what this mountain bike year would bring. There were many moments where words just fell short. Did we doubt that we could get this far? Absolutely not. But after a 2023 season marked by absences, injuries, and other challenges, we realized just how much has to align perfectly to reach where we want to be. Now, in mid-November, we look back on a season where so much fell into place. World Cup podiums, Swiss Cup podiums and victories, Top 20 finishes in the Elite World Cup, and much more. It's truly remarkable what can be achieved, even with limited resources, when you put in enough hard work, passion, and dedication to the sport.
Throughout the season, we've shared a lot about race results, events, and training camps. So, in this newsletter, we want to look back at the year from a slightly different perspective.
